Non Clinical Peer Recovery Services

 Whether your are someone looking to find recovery or are someone who has been in long-term recovery, but needs some extra support today, the RPOST program is for you. The RPOST team is a group of Certified Peer Recovery Specialists who provide emotional & experience-based support, using evidence-based practices, to individuals who are seeking to attain or maintain recovery. Collaboration between Certified Peer Recovery Specialists  & the individual are made to achieve goals, overcome barriers, & create a system recovery capital. Services are provided Monday through Friday from 9am to 8pm. Saturdays by appointment. Virtual services available.

Addiction is a family disease. It  affects everyone in the home and can be extremely challenging and overwhelming. You find yourself questioning EVERYTHING! Supporting loved ones through the recovery process takes understand, patience, and unconditional support, but sometimes that means your own recovery/wellness takes a back seat! This program range of family-driven supportive activities  and services that designed to improve the overall functioning and quality of life of families with a relative with who is in recovery. Services are provided Monday through Friday from 9am to 8pm. Saturdays by appointment. Virtual services available.

Are you a mom in recovery? If yes, you understand the daily stressors, joys, and challenges of being a mom, but you also know the added pressure of being in recovery.  The MORE Project is a program offering non-clinical peer (other moms in recovery) support and case management to provide tangible skills to do it all! The MORE Project operates Monday thru Friday 9-6 and weekends by appointment. We also offer virtual services because we know how hard it can be with childcare.  No matter your barrier we can help! Talk with people who understand!!

There is so much to understand about recovery. Much of what we know is from generational knowledge that has been imprinted on our thoughts and values surrounding substance use.  If you are 65 years of age or older the GPOST program is for you.   The GPOST program offers ALL recovery non-clinical case management, transportation, & support groups to assist individuals ages 65 years & older in recovery from addiction.  Services are provided Monday through Friday from 9am to 8pm. Saturdays by appointment.

 The Text for Recovery (T4R) text line is live 7 days a week, from 8am-8pm. The text line consists of 3 parts: the personal concierge, live two-way messaging & initiated keywords. The personal concierge offers participants personal messages up to 3 times a week. These messages range from emotional support, lifestyle support, therapy/treatment information & more. The live two-way messaging is a way for participants to reach out during hours of operations for emotional support & referrals with text specialists. 

 The Pathways program is to holistically address barriers individuals impacted by opioids are facing so they may find gainful and long-term employment. Pathways will train and educate Ocean County residents to succeed in the workplace. Participants will receive non-clinical vocational case management to assist in their individual employment needs as well as various options for training certifications. Services are provided Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Virtual Services are available.

 MHANJ-Ocean’s Recovery Hotspot (RH) is a vehicle equipped with all recovery support information in Ocean County and is staffed by Certified Peer Recovery Specialists. RH visits community “Hot Spots” (Hotspots are high impacted/well trafficked areas throughout Ocean County) providing information, referrals, linkages, and on-going case management & follow up. Recovery Hotspot operates Sunday through Saturday with designated times during the day (including nights & weekends) offering curbside resources for recovery support.
